Can I create a tour without ordering an Asteroom Imaging Package?

Yes, you can upload up to 25 images, create a 360 virtual tour, and share it for 60 days for free. The free tour does not include the following features: 3D dollhouses, 2D floor plans, image enhancement, or 3D staging.

How do I get started?

First, purchase the 3D Tour Kit and follow the instructions in the package when you receive it. If you have a Ricoh Theta or Insta360 camera, you can directly download the Asteroom mobile app and get started. Visit our help center if you run into issues or contact us at support@asteroom.com.

What's the requirement for phones?

An operating system later than iOS 11 or later than Android 7 is able to install the Asteroom app.For the best image quality, we recommend phones that came out in 2017 or later. (iPhone X or equivalent android models)

What’s the turnaround time?

Generally, it takes 24 hours for your dollhouse, and image enhancement to be completed, and additional 8 hours for the floor plan.

Can I order the services in the Asteroom Imaging Package individually?

No. This is an all-in-one package and cannot be ordered separately. Optional add-on's such as 3D Staging can be ordered separately.

The phone case list doesn't include my phone model, can I use the 3D Tour Kit?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer the clip-on fisheye lens option now. We highly recommend using phone case to shoot a 3D tour that will have the best quality. Or you may consider Trisio 360 Camera that has 8K resolution.

How long does it take to scan a property?

On average it takes 15-20 minutes to shoot a 3,000 sqft property with the 3D Tour Kit (20 seconds per 360 photo).

Does creating 3D tour take extensive training?

No, Asteroom tours can be created by anyone. It's designed for real estate agents, so using the kit you can scan any property as well as any professional photographer after watching a simple on-boarding video.
